Hotfix

Formed in the basement laundry room of a shared band house dubbed “Area 51” on the east mountain of Hamilton, Ontario, Hotfix is an alternative rock band blending raw energy with genre-bending creativity. Known for their dynamic sound and electrifying live performances, they have quickly earned a reputation as one of Southern Ontario’s most exciting emerging acts.

Drawing from a wide range of influences—from classic rock legends to contemporary innovators—Hotfix brings a fresh twist to alt-rock, seamlessly merging elements of pop-rock, psychedelic, and shoegaze music into their unique mix. Their debut EP, Calm, Cool & Anxious, released in early 2024, showcases their ability to balance introspective lyrics with bold, experimental instrumentation. Hotfix is currently back in the studio, crafting their next wave of songs, promising more sonic exploration and boundary-pushing sounds.
